Job Description

The Behavior Project is a locally and BCBA owned/operated ABA provider in Overland Park, KS. We're an innovative early intervention program serving littles on the autism spectrum (ages 2-7) and their families through a play-based therapeutic approach.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
  • Assist with skill acquisition programs, including communication, social skills, and daily living skills
  • Maintain a safe, FUN, and supportive environment for clients
Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to follow directions and implement behavior intervention plans
  • Patience and compassion when working with children
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately collect data Please note that previous experience as a Behavior Technician or working with individuals with ASD is preferred but not required.
