RBT Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist-In Home Joe's Roadside Assistance Lexington, KY Job Details Part-time $17 - $20 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Mileage reimbursement Qualifications RBT Certification Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities HIPAA Experience working with children Health information management Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist to provide in-home behavioral therapy services. In this vital role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, to implement personalized treatment plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis. Your efforts will help clients develop essential skills, improve behavior, and enhance their quality of life. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and special education. Responsibilities Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or licensed clinician and Psychiatrist for my special needs child Assist clients with safety, activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care routines. Assist with some school transitions pick-up or drop off Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support clients in developing communication, social, and functional skills through engaging teaching techniques. Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Collaborate with families and other caregivers to reinforce therapy goals and provide guidance on behavior management strategies at home. Adhere to professional and ethical standards outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and other relevant guidelines. Skills Experience working with my autistic child/neuro-developmental disorder in home-based or school settings. Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and behavior management techniques. Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data effectively. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards. Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care. Familiarity with special education practices and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs. Demonstrated professionalism in maintaining confidentiality and complying with HIPAA regulations.
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
