About us Brighter Futures Therapy Center is a multiservice provider, designed to enhance the lives of our clientele through an individualized approach; providing education and support that allows clients to receive the opportunity to enhance performance skills on a daily basis with valued and purposeful activity engagement. We are dedicated to providing excellent therapy services through standards of "Best Practice." Our focus is to meet our client's individual needs to empower and assist them in the creation of a Brighter Future. Registered Behavior Technician A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional certified in behavioral analysis. At Brighter Futures Therapy Center, LLC., RBTs assist in delivering behavioral analysis services, practicing under the direction and close supervision of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). RBTs are the technicians who work most closely with our clientele and their families to provide the responses and reinforcement that make applied behavior analysis actually work.
Responsibilities:
Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals Collect and record data on client progress and behavior Assist with the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment approach Support clients in developing and improving social, communication, and daily living skills Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clientsExperience:
Previous experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities preferred Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is preferred RBT certification preferredRequirements:
Be eighteen (18) years of age or older Have a high school diploma, a general equivalency diploma (GED), or qualifying documentation from a comparable educational entity Have or be willing to obtain an RBT certification Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Have the ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans effectively Have patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help individuals with special needs •We offer comprehensive training and ongoing professional development opportunities to support your growth in this rewarding field.•Job Types:
