Role:
Join DreamCatchersLLC as a Behavior Technician in Baton Rouge, LA, where you'll make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges. We're looking for passionate individuals who are excited to support our clients in their journey towards independence and growth.
Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect and record data on client progress and behavior during sessions. Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community. Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote skill development. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistency in care. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance professional skills. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all clients. Adapt interventions based on client needs and progress.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field preferred. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral issues is a plus. Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others. Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs. Background check clearance required.
