Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2026-2027 school year to provide school-based ABA services across elementary and high school settings at a school in Louisiana. This position works 4 days per week, 8.5 hours per day, and includes direct supervision of 3 Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), staff training, and behavior modeling. Key Responsibilities Provide school-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to elementary and high school students Supervise, mentor, and support 3 Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) across the school day Deliver hands-on staff training and model behavior intervention strategies in the natural school environment Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Collaborate with special education teachers, general education staff, administrators, and families Participate in IEP meetings and contribute behavioral goals and progress data Monitor student progress through data collection and analysis; adjust programming as needed Ensure all services are delivered in compliance with IDEA, Louisiana state guidelines, and BACB ethical standards Support crisis prevention and positive behavior support (PBS) initiatives school-wide Required Qualifications Master's degree in Education, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field Active National BCBA Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) (required) Experience supervising RBTs or behavior technicians in a school or clinical setting Strong knowledge of FBA/BIP development, MTSS frameworks, and school-based ABA practices Experience working with both elementary and secondary/high school populations preferred Excellent data analysis, documentation, and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary school team Traveler-Friendly Position This contract is open to traveling BCBAs.
