Job Description

Must have completed ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years ABA Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a difference this school year by working directly with elementary students in a structured special education environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to support high-needs K-2 students with autism, delivering essential behavioral and classroom support as part of a dedicated team. The assignment runs through the remainder of the current school year, with the possibility of extension based on district needs. The primary focus is providing intensive support, helping students thrive both behaviorally and academically.
Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Skilled in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and significant behavioral or communication needs Familiar with implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), tracking behavior data, and employing de-escalation strategies SafetyCare training is a strong asset Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills for working with classroom staff and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one and small group behavioral support for students with high needs Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and other professionals to implement IEPs and BIPs Monitor, record, and report on student behavior using established tracking systems Utilize evidence-based de-escalation and support strategies to promote positive behavior Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment tailored to individual student needs In this engaging school-based setting, you'll help shape positive outcomes for young learners while expanding your skills and contributing to a supportive team.
