9690565-01002 Job Description Make a direct impact supporting students with autism as a dedicated school-based BCBA/Autism Specialist in a contract role serving four schools in the Amherst/Springfield, MA area. Through onsite collaboration, you'll consult with teachers and support staff, conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and coach classrooms to help ensure every student receives the support they need.

Desired Qualifications:

Active BCBA certification (be prepared to provide a screenshot as part of your application) Previous experience as a school-based BCBA or Autism Specialist strongly preferred Demonstrated expertise in performing FBAs and creating BIPs Experience delivering coaching and consultation to teachers and paraprofessionals on behavioral strategies Background in supporting autism classrooms and working with multidisciplinary teams Reliable transportation (travel between four school sites is required) Ability to pass drug screening, fingerprinting, and background (CORI) checks

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct consultation and support for behavior management in autism and special education classrooms Conduct FBAs and design individualized BIPs to address student needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and multidisciplinary teams to align strategies Coach and train teachers and paraprofessionals in positive behavioral supports Support the implementation and fidelity of behavior plans in real time Maintain timely, professional communication regarding attendance and scheduling
