Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician providing dedicated 1:1 behavioral support to a 6th grade student. This school-based role offers a consistent daytime schedule (7:55 AM - 2:25 PM, 32.5 hours weekly) and is set to continue through June 30, 2026. You'll play a key part in shaping a positive learning environment, working closely within a middle school setting near Dorchester, MA. Your expertise in ABA practices and prior school-based experience supporting students, especially those on the autism spectrum or with behavioral needs, are essential for this assignment. RBT or BT credentials are required, and preference will be given to actively credentialed candidates in Massachusetts. Those applying as RBTs should be aware that BCBA supervision will not be provided by the district, so previous independent activity is highly valued.
Qualifications:
Active RBT or BT certification/license in Massachusetts Demonstrated school-based experience (required) Extensive ABA training and direct experience implementing behavior intervention plans Experienced supporting students on the autism spectrum and managing behavioral needs Comfortable serving as a 1:1 for a 6th grade student, onsite Reliable transportation and ability to work school hours (no remote options) Ability to clear CORI and fingerprint background checks Willingness to have prior assignment activity reviewed
