  • Behavior Technician (BT) needed for in-home/community based ABA direct services for an elementary-school aged youth.
Do you love having fun, coaching, and teaching children? Do you have experience working with kids who have an autism spectrum diagnosis and their families? Looking for an additional part-time rewarding role? Then, this position is for you!
RATE:
$24
  • $27/hour (depending on education and experience) for direct service; $18/hr for training
BENEFITS
Paid training, Sick Time, mileage reimbursement for community outings, dedicated supervisor, teaching supplies and materials provided by the company, career/job growth opportunities available

10 hours per week, with the following schedule:

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Help a young person and their family to develop skills, learn, and grow using a specific teaching program, design by a compassionate and involved BCBA Supervisor
  • Use the principles of applied behavior analysis, as directed by BCBA Supervisor to help the learner reduce or change behaviors that have social significance and/or affect their quality of life
  • Collect and record data from each session using an easy-to-use phone app
  • Document notes from session and collaborate with BCBA to monitor ABA treatment
  • Have a rewarding experience helping a child and their family learn and grow
