You'll work full-time during normal business hours, with some flexibility to occasionally work evening or weekend hours as needed. There is an on-call rotation.
Working with behavior specialists to create and implement positive behavior support plans for students Regularly evaluating intervention plans and analyzing performance data to determine treatment effectiveness, identify areas for growth, and strategically modify programs Collaborating with internal departments to align plans with the best practices in behavior analysis and trauma-informed care Conducting students' behavioral assessments and reviewing intake evaluations to develop effective interventions Accurately collecting, entering, and analyzing intervention data Leading in-service training sessions on crisis prevention, ABA, and behavioral interventions Facilitating meetings on IEPs, clinical discussions, and related topics Assisting with hiring, onboarding, supervising, and coaching behavior specialists Helping plan, schedule, and lead in-service and monthly staff meetings Proactively assessing and modifying implementation and treatment effectiveness Serving as an ambassador for the organization and fostering strong relationships with families, agencies, and community partners
QUALIFICATIONS
Our ideal Pediatric Behavioral Services Coordinator has a master's degree and is BCBA/BCaBA certified . Familiarity with positive behavior supports (PBS), trauma-informed care, and ABA strategies would be a bonus! Requirements Bachelor's degree in a field like psychology, behavior analysis, or social work 5+ years of experience developing, implementing, and overseeing behavioral intervention programs Experience in a residential care setting or working with people with special needs Proficiency with Microsoft applications, with the ability to learn new software and online portals Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and non-violent physical intervention certifications within 3 months of hire Valid driver's license in your state of residence, reliable transportation, and a good driving record Ability to perform physical demands like walking, bending, reaching, lifting objects/people without assistance, using office equipment, physically restraining individuals, working outdoors, etc.
