Qualifications:
BCBA, appropriate DESE or other appropriate Commonwealth of Massachusetts license. Experience working with students in a school setting with academic, behavioral and/or emotional challenges, learning or developmental disabilities or autism preferred. Must be able and willing to physically restrain and/or lift students.

Program Director/Coordinator Responsibilities:
1. Develop and supervise the implementation of behavioral intervention plans.. 2. Provide and/or facilitate professional development and consultation to staff regarding their response to student behaviors. 3. Collect, monitor, and analyze the data on students for in school discipline, time out, and restraints. 4. Prepare reports and collects data on students' behaviors. 5. Report any concerns regarding staff's response to student behavioral issues to the Coordinator/Director. 6. Prepare functional behavioral assessments (FBA's) and behavioral intervention plans (BIP's) to identify target behaviors, antecedents, and effective intervention for students. 7. Refer behavioral issues of concern to Coordinator/Director. 8. Conduct home visits, as necessary for home follow through with student behavior as determined by the team process, 9. Use de-escalation, protective measures, and physical management techniques (including lifting and moving) as prescribed in SSEC approved physical management training programs when appropriate with students. 10. Provide regular supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Behavior Technicians (BTs), and paraprofessionals as determined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) guidelines or as directed by your assigned supervisor. 11. Consistent work attendance which includes; arriving to work on time each day, working the entire day and notifying the program director/coordinator a minimum of 24 hours in advance for a personal day whenever possible. 12. Follows all policies and procedures as established by the South Shore Educational Collaborative. 13. Participate in all required in-service training 14. Maintain confidentiality regarding information for all SSEC staff, students and their families. 15. Perform other duties as may from time to time be assigned by the program director/coordinator. Mandatory participation in all of the following SSEC sponsored trainings to include but not limited to: 1. Successful completion of SSEC approved restraint trainings full and/or recertification annually as appropriate. 2. Maintain active CPR/First Aid certification. 3. Successful completion of all SSEC approved threat assessment training. 4. Successful completion of required training hours for 7D licensure if requested by the program director/coordinator.
