Position Summary SELA International School is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and student-centered ABA Therapist to support students with behavioral, social, communication, and academic needs within the school setting. The ABA Therapist will work closely with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to implement individualized behavior intervention plans and promote student success in the classroom and throughout the school day. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children and helping students develop the skills necessary to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Essential Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies as directed by supervising professionals. Provide direct one-on-one and small-group behavioral support to students throughout the school day. Collect, maintain, and analyze behavioral data accurately and consistently. Support students in developing communication, social, self-regulation, and adaptive skills. Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to promote positive behavioral outcomes. Assist with implementing accommodations and supports outlined in student educational plans. Monitor student progress and communicate observations to supervisors and educational team members. Support students during classroom instruction, transitions, lunch, recess, specials, and other school activities as needed. Maintain confidentiality and comply with all school policies and applicable regulations. Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field. Experience working with children in educational, behavioral, childcare, or therapeutic settings. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in a dynamic school environment. Preferred Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Experience working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. Familiarity with ABA principles and behavior management strategies. Physical Requirements Ability to actively engage with students throughout the school day. Ability to lift, move, or assist students when necessary. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and participate in classroom and playground activities. Why Join SELA?
