The company offers the online 40-hour training program to assist employees in becoming a Registered Behavior Technician.
Schedules:
This position is part time (10-20 hours a week) and schedules are typically Monday through Friday with scheduled hours between 3:00pm to 7:00pm each day.
Location:
Position location may vary; employee may be scheduled to work in client's home for direct care (over 15 cities in MA) or at the companies ABA Center in Lawrence, MA if local.
Job Role:
A Behavior Technician implements individualized treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The individual will work directly with children between the ages of 2 to 16 that are diagnosed with autism or developmental disabilities—to teach social, communication, and daily living skills while helping to reduce challenging behaviors.
Direct Client Care:
Deliver one-on-one therapy, using reinforcement and structured activities to encourage positive behaviors and skill acquisition.
Data Collection:
Track and record the frequency, duration, and intensity of target behaviors during sessions.
Collaboration:
Assist the supervising BCBA with clinical assessments and report client progress to families and caretakers.
Safe Environment:
Maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic setting for the client at all times.
Key Skills & Qualifications Patience and Empathy:
Essential for building rapport with clients and managing behavioral outbursts or unpredictability.
Communication:
Must effectively collaborate with clinical teams and provide updates to client families.
Requirements:
Highschool Diploma and can pass a criminal background check
