The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with diverse needs. This role requires expertise in various teaching methodologies and the ability to adapt lessons to meet the individual requirements of each student. The candidate will work collaboratively with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure that all students receive the education they deserve.
Caseload:
Seeking 2 full time RBTs for the full school year: Working with students across grades K to Grade 5. RBTs implement the principles of ABA throughout the day and are expected to lead academic small groups, run discrete trial instruction sessions, provide support to build social and emotional skills, and provide inclusion support. Data collection on student progress as well as behavioral support isalso an extremely important aspect of this role. RBT's will receive support and direction from a BoardCertified Behavior Analyst and special education staff. Requirements Must be a Registered Behavior Technician with active certification Experience working with individuals with disabilities in an educational setting. Strong skills in classroom management, behavior management, and communication. Familiarity with literacy education techniques and physical education instruction. Knowledge of tutoring strategies for diverse learners is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. A commitment to ongoing professional development in special education practices.
