Job Description

Our BTs/RBTs experience deeply rewarding work as they are able to celebrate the small victories and witness increased independence. Despite challenges, the role is fulfilling as it directly allows for personalized attention, collaboration with families, and interventions in natural settings. Responsibilities Direct Services
  • Providing one-on-one sessions with the child to work on targeted skills outlined in the behavior intervention plan. This may include functional communication skills, social skills, and other socially significant goals. Data Collection
  • Collecting and recording data on the child's challenging behaviors and skill acquisition goals during sessions to track progress accurately. This data collection process may include individual trials, task analyses, frequency/counts, etc. Data analysis helps in making informed decisions about the effectiveness of interventions. Collaboration
  • Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other members of the child's support system. Documentation
  • Session notes and data are expected to meet all Behavior Assist requirements. Session notes are complete, accurate, and be submitted within 24 hours of service delivery. HIPAA Compliance
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA compliance requirements.
It's important to note that RBTs work under the supervision of BCBAs, and their activities are guided by the ethical standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). The ultimate goal is to enhance the child's overall well-being and help them lead more independent and fulfilling lives.
