Behavior Technician Fee for Service (Part-Time)

HR Schedule:
Monday, Wed & Friday- 10:00 AM-12:00 PM Tuesday & Thursday - 10:00 AM-4:00
PM Summary:
The Edinburg Center is seeking an experienced Part-Time Fee-for-Service Behavior Technician to provide community-based ABA support to a 2 individuals in their 30's who has high functioning autisim in Watertown, MA. Weekly number of hours will average 6-12 hours per week.
Hourly rate:
$25/hr. Must be able to meet the below requirements, and must be able to work the following weekly schedule above.
What you will do:
Implement, model, and monitor progress of individualized behavior support and skill plans based on data analysis under the supervision of BCBA concentrating on social skills, communication, and behavioral support. Work collaboratively and independently with team members, especially parents. Assist in training parents and caregivers who implement plans with children and families on principles of Applied Behavior Analysis with excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be comfortable transporting persons served using their own personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
What you will bring:
Candidates must meet one of three requirements: (1) BA in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Special Education or human service-related field; (2) Associate's degree and a minimum of two years relevant direct experience with families and youth with serious emotional and behavioral challenges and autism; (3) At least one year of experience utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis in a therapeutic setting Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, and be able to meet our safe driving requirements Experience in implementing principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children with autism is required. Experience in implementing positive behavior support plans and teaching new skills, including direct instruction, discrete trial training, incidental teaching, task analysis, and other ABA methods preferred Experience working with youth 21 years and under with serious emotional and behavioral challenges or Autism Excellent written and interpersonal skills, team player
