This full-time, paid position offers a unique opportunity to provide hands-on behavioral therapy in a live-in setting, fostering meaningful progress and independence. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will implement individualized care plans, assist with daily living activities, and collect valuable data to track progress, all while creating a positive and nurturing environment for three young adult men with IDD and autism. Your energetic and compassionate approach will help transform lives through evidence-based practices rooted in applied behavior analysis. Duties Working with a BCBA, and House Manager, implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, ensuring safety and dignity at all times. Collect and record accurate data on behaviors, skill acquisition, and progress to inform ongoing treatment strategies. Support three young men with IDD and autism through teaching social skills, communication techniques, and adaptive behaviors. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop consistent strategies that reinforce positive behaviors across environments. Provide patient-centered care that emphasizes patience, encouragement, and positive reinforcement to foster trust and motivation. Qualifications Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis or special education Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young adults and adults with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Excellent communication skills for teaching new skills and documenting progress clearly for team members and families. Ability to assist with ADLs safely while maintaining patience and compassion in all interactions. Flexibility to work live-in shifts that may include evenings or weekends as needed. Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is preferred. Embark on a rewarding career where your energy makes a difference!
