Job Description

Bring your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic school setting near Annapolis, MD! This position offers the rewarding chance to make a significant impact by working closely with students and educational professionals within a supportive district. The assignment will be at a well-respected special education school, running from August 24, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule of 35 hours (7 hours per day).
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required Previous experience working in a school or similar educational environment is highly valued Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Compassionate, patient approach to working with youth with special education needs Reliable, organized, and professional demeanor
Key Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Support students in achieving both academic and behavioral goals throughout the school day Collect, track, and report data on student behavior and program effectiveness Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure a holistic approach to student success Assist in the development of appropriate strategies and supports for students with behavioral needs
