Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) serving a vibrant school community in the Cambridge, MD area. Your expertise will support students with a range of behavioral needs, collaborating with teachers, families, and other specialists to create positive learning outcomes. Qualifications:
Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field Experience implementing behavioral assessments, developing intervention plans, and training school staff Strong collaboration skills with educators, administrators, and families Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation abilities Prior work in school settings highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop tailored behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Provide crisis intervention support and proactive strategies Deliver training, modeling, and consultation for teachers and support staff on evidence-based behavioral practices Monitor student progress, collect and analyze data, and adjust interventions as needed Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams Engage in ongoing communication with families to support generalization of strategies
