Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Responsibilities Deliver individualized behavioral therapy sessions based on treatment plans developed by BCBAs, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior management. Collect and record data meticulously during sessions to monitor progress and inform ongoing treatment strategies. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, feeding, and other self-care routines. Apply principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in intervention strategies across environments. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support clients during educational activities within special education settings or therapeutic environments to enhance learning outcomes. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses accurately to inform ongoing treatment strategies Use behavioral therapy techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors effectively Support clients during therapy sessions by providing positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies Maintain confidentiality of medical records and adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and data security Collaborate with team members to update care plans and document medical terminology accurately in client records Bring a positive and energetic attitude to the client's environment Teach through a naturalistic and fun approach Experience Prior experience working with children is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral health principles, and behavior management techniques is highly valued Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with individuals on the autism spectrum or in special education environments Ability to follow detailed instructions and participate actively in ongoing training sessions Position Requirements Must be 18 years or older with high school diploma or GED Current and valid Registered Behavior Technician Credential, or willingness to pursue on a fast track Background screening and clearance Current driver's license and reliable transportation If you are looking for a meaningful ABA experience with a company that is focused on our clients and our staff's personal growth, we are the place for you!
