Job Description
Heartlinks ABA MD is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism across home, center, and community settings. The RBT will implement individualized behavior and skill-building programs designed by a BCBA, collect detailed data, and follow behavior plans and safety protocols. You'll collaborate closely with families and a multidisciplinary clinical team in a compassionate, child-centered environment. Responsibilities Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in home, center, and community settings following treatment plans designed by a BCBAImplement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs, including communication, social, and daily living skills Collect accurate, real-time data on client behaviors and program goals using digital or paper systems Follow behavior support strategies and safety protocols, including crisis-prevention procedures as trained Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and team members to support consistency across environments Participate in training, supervision, and performance feedback to continually build ABA skills Document session notes and communicate progress or concerns to supervising clinicians Maintain professional and ethical standards in line with BACB guidelines and HIPAA Required Skills Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) implementation Behavior data collection and charting Behavior intervention plan implementation Discrete Trial Training (DTT) Natural Environment Teaching (NET) Crisis prevention and de-escalation techniques Electronic health record or clinical documentation Professional communication with families and clinicians Basic child development knowledge HIPAA-compliant documentation practices
