  • Full-time Description We are looking for a Behavior Technician to join our behavior support services team.
Behavior Technicians provide Brief Support Implementation Services (BSIS) to individuals with developmental disabilities in family homes, residential programs, personal supports programs, and day services. All BSIS services are delivered face to face. Behavior Technicians train staff and other caregivers by modeling the implementation of behavioral strategies. They conduct observations, write clinical notes, and collect data. This position also provides crisis intervention services when assigned. Clinically, the Behavior Technician works under the direct supervision of a Behavioral Consultant. Otherwise, this position works with minimal supervision. This is a Full-Time position This position offers a flexible schedule Mostly 11 AM to 7 PM and some weekend hours

7 paid holidays Requirements A Bachelor's Degree in psychology or a related field. Experience or training in applied behavior analysis is preferred. The successful candidate would also need to have, or be able to get, RBT Certification. Training course provided for the right candidate. Minimum of one year of experience or its equivalent working in mental health or DDA programs. Experience implementing behavior plans. Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, Outlook. A valid driver's license for at least one (1) year, but prefer two (2) years, not counting any time on a learner's permit. The ability to pass a background check and pre-employment screenings which include a drug screen and physical/fitness test. The ability to lift and transfer at least 50 pounds in order to provide direct care and implement proper restraint techniques to ensure the health and safety of the person served. #ID
