Lead ABA Instructor
OverviewThe Lead ABA Instructor assumes a leadership role and is responsible for providing training and professional development to all those in the school providing direct behavioral care to students with the support of the administrative and behavioral teams.

Maintains a safe learning environment for students within the scope of The Arrow Center for Education Schools administrative policies and procedures.
Provides job specific training for new and tenured One to One Aides.
Conducts ongoing and annual professional development for One-to-One Aides.
Utilizes a variety of teaching strategies and techniques to promote progress and success.
Reviews data for students, including current acquisition targets, maintenance skills, and behavioral data tracking. Provides feedback to One-to-One Aides based on these reviews.
Model behavior management protocol and crisis intervention techniques for staff.
Assure the timely completion of all necessary paperwork by One-to-One Aides to accurately record student progress, including the resource and support room documentation, incident reports, TBA sheets, and classroom data.
Participate as an active member of the treatment team. Communicates all appropriate information within and without the classroom orally and in writing.
Assist in the development and maintenance of a positive school culture.
Maintain proper rules, safety and security of students, providing crisis intervention when necessary.
Inform the Principal and administrative team of all relevant situations.
Attend trainings and meetings as required.
Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards.
May be required to drive vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete company vehicle training.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED with at least 3 years related experience working with students diagnosed with autism or mental health needs required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience utilizing Applied Behavioral Analysis or analogous behavioral methodologies as appropriate for the population served required.
