Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with significant social and emotional needs in a structured, collaborative school environment. This full-time role centers on providing expertise to the Pyramid Program, which offers integrated special education and therapeutic services within a middle school setting. You will have the chance to shadow the current BCBA immediately, ensuring a smooth transition when they begin their leave in December. The assignment runs from as soon as you're able to start through the end of February.
Key Qualifications:
Active BCBA licensure Experience supporting students with complex social/emotional and behavioral needs Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Strong communication skills—both written and verbal Familiarity with structured, evidence-based intervention strategies Commitment to ethical practice in an educational context
Responsibilities:
Deliver intensive behavioral and therapeutic support for the Pyramid Program in a general education school Collaborate with psychologists, counselors, and special education professionals to create and implement individualized plans Guide data collection and analysis to monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed Serve as a resource to teachers and aides, facilitating training and ongoing consultation Attend meetings as required, including occasional after-school sessions Maintain documentation to ensure compliance with program standards and legal guidelines This contract role offers a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise in a dynamic school setting while making a positive impact in the lives of students facing significant challenges.
