Position Details Schedule :
Monday•Friday Hours :
30-40 hours/weekDates :
August 2026•May 2026 (with option to renew for '27•28 SY)Location :
Onsite in Portland, Maine Public Schools Responsibilities Support students academically, behaviorally, and with personal care under the direction of certified staff Assist with routines such as mobility, feeding, hygiene, and self-care Implement accommodations, modifications, and behavior plans Promote engagement, independence, and inclusion throughout the school day Document services and report observations to appropriate team members Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff Qualifications Educational Technician III Authorization (or eligible) from the Maine DOE High School Diploma required; Three years post-secondary education or 90 approved credit hours in a related area (approved study may include college credits, CEUs, or in-service/contact hours) Experience with children or students with disabilities strongly preferred Consistent, reliable, and able to follow care and behavior protocols Patient, compassionate, and collaborative Must pass background check and district onboarding Why Join Sage Connections?
