Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Behavior Technician and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, primarily utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA), to promote positive growth and skill development. You will work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate care, support independence, and foster meaningful progress through structured teaching and behavior management strategies. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in behavioral health while making a lasting impact. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect and analyze data on client behaviors, progress, and response to interventions to inform ongoing treatment strategies Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, feeding, and other essential self-care tasks Support clients in educational settings by applying special education techniques and teaching new skills in a patient, encouraging manner Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs Foster a positive environment that promotes behavior management, patience, and understanding during therapy sessions Qualifications Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy or working with children with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and behavior management strategies Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism and other developmental challenges in various settings Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, educators, and healthcare professionals Comfortable assisting with ADLs and implementing teaching strategies in a compassionate manner Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards such as HIPAA regulations is advantageous Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping others grow are key qualities for success in this role Join us to be part of a supportive environment dedicated to empowering individuals through compassionate care and innovative behavioral interventions. Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
