Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals, particularly children, with autism or other developmental disabilities to implement behavior intervention plans.
Responsibilities:
  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in home, clinic, or community settings
  • Collect and record data on observable client behavior
  • Assist in the development of treatment goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with the supervisory team to ensure client progress
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client information
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Background in social work, special education, or behavioral health is a plus
