Applied Behavior Technician (PT) (Early Intervention) Wedgwood Christian Services - 3.6 Grand Rapids, MI Job Details Part-time $18 - $20 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Paid training 403(b) matching Employee assistance program 403(b) Loan forgiveness Pet insurance Qualifications Entry level Full Job Description Applied Behavior Technician (PT) (Early Intervention) Overview We are seeking individuals who are energetic, compassionate, fun, and dedicated to changing the lives of children and families. We provide focused based intervention based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Our technicians work 1:1 with 2 to six year old children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. They are responsible for implementing natural environment teaching (NET) and discrete trial training (DTT), as directed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). In addition, our techs facilitate play and social interaction, as well as design and conduct exciting daily small group activities in a fun, engaging environment. Why Join Wedgwood's ACCD Family? Status/Hours:
Part-Time, Tuesday-Thursday, 11:45-6:30p (average 12-24 hrs per week, depending on availability) (Team Meetings Wednesdays at 11a)
Pay Rate :
$18-20 w/o RBT Certification , $19-21 w RBT Certification Example ABA session : https://youtu.be/-UIrOZkYmO4
Qualifications:
High school diploma required Bachelor's Degree preferred Prior experience working with ASD population is preferred Prior experience working with children is preferred We are looking for individuals who possess a compassionate and empathetic demeanor We are seeking individuals with the ability to establish rapport with young clients
