$20-$25 per hour

Schedule:

Part-Time, 10-20 hours per week, with potential to move to full-time The Company Avanza ABA is a growing provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy based in Lansing, MI. We primarily serve children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), supporting them in developing communication, social, and self-care skills. Privately owned by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Avanza ABA is committed to delivering high-quality care while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment. We have been in the Lansing area servicing clients in their homes for over 3 years, while we recently opened a new treatment center on Lansing's westside to better serve our clients and community. Through this phase of growth, we are actively expanding our team with motivated individuals looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children. No prior ABA experience is required, though relevant experience in human services is preferred. Previous experience working with children is required. This role is especially well-suited for individuals pursuing or interested in fields such as psychology, education, child development, or related disciplines. We are currently hiring part-time team members for 10-30 hours per week. We offer flexible scheduling and are seeking candidates with availability in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Key Responsibilities Provide direct support to clients to build communication, social, and self-management skills Work with clients either in their homes or in a center-based setting Collaborate with the BCBA and team members to implement individualized treatment plans Collect and record data to track client progress Maintain strict client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards Foster positive, professional relationships with clients and their families Organize materials and clean up at the end of each session Attend monthly meetings and participate in ongoing training sessions What You Bring Previous experience working with children A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and grow Ability to work in an active environment, including lifting up to 25 lbs and assisting clients as needed Willingness to complete a 40-hour RBT training program and pass the RBT exam (fully covered by the company) Reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Bachelor's degree from a four-year university, preferably in psychology, education, child development, or a related field Previous teaching experience or experience working with children in an educational setting Additional Benefits Ongoing supervision and professional training Opportunities for career growth and advancement Support for pursuing advanced certifications in ABA A collaborative and supportive work environment that values your development Paid training PTO To learn more about Avanza ABA and our core values, visit our website: www.avanzaaba.com
