Job Description

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
Must have a valid driver's license, High School Diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
Prefer a minimum of 1-year experience working with children diagnosed with Autism and/or other developmental disabilities and their families.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY
Shiawassee Health & Wellness, an innovative Community Mental Health organization, has a part-time temp position available for a Behavior Technician. The Behavior Technician will primarily work in conjunction with the Behavior Analyst to decrease challenging behavior and increase skill acquisition for individuals with Autism. Services are provided At Shiawassee Health and wellness and in the individuals home environment. The Behavior Technician will provide one-on-one activities related to the delivery of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), as defined within a behavior analysis services plan. Responsibilities include implementation of behavioral procedures, data collection/display, completing required documentation and assisting in the training of caregivers.
