As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will provide direct, play-based behavioral therapy to children in our pediatric outpatient facility, supporting their developmental goals through individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs. You'll work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), families, and a multidisciplinary team to foster growth in communication, social skills, and adaptive behavior in a collaborative, child-centered environment.
Duties:
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Provide one-on-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction
  • Collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment approach
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions
Skills:
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and strategies
  • Ability to effectively collect and record data on client progress
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team This position requires a high level of dedication and compassion.
