Job Description

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Pediatric Clinic Social Pediatric Therapy is a pediatric speech, occupational, and ABA therapy clinic in West Bloomfield, MI. We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide individualized, play-based ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental needs. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention and treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions focused on communication, social, play, and adaptive skills Collect and record accurate data during therapy sessions Assist with the implementation of individualized treatment plans Monitor client progress and communicate updates to the supervising BCBA Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other members of the clinical team Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive therapy environment Complete timely and accurate documentation Qualifications Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral intervention strategies Strong data collection and documentation skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team Patience, compassion, and a passion for helping children achieve their goals Preferred Experience in a pediatric outpatient setting Experience working with autism spectrum disorder and developmental delays Ability to work collaboratively with Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and BCBAs CPR/First Aid certification required
