Key Qualifications:

Hold a valid BCBA or Tier 3/Tier 4 Special Education teaching license (required for SpEd Teacher applicants; RBTs do not qualify). Demonstrated expertise in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing individualized behavior intervention plans. Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and providing consultative support. Adaptable mindset to serve multiple sites and address diverse student needs calmly and effectively. Primary Responsibilities:

Provide consultation and direct support in implementing positive behavior interventions for students. Conduct functional behavior assessments and work collaboratively to develop effective individualized programming. Reinforce positive behaviors and use de-escalation techniques as needed; implement restrictive procedures when appropriate. Support the creation and execution of individualized education plans according to district, state, and federal requirements. Deliver staff training on behavioral recommendations and best practices. Maintain safety within the school environment and ensure compliance with all district policies. Analyze and utilize student data to guide decision-making and enhance student outcomes. This part-time position averages 18 hours a week (.5 FTE), typically between 8:30 am and 4:10 pm, with some slight variation to accommodate school schedules.
