In this role, you will work closely with children and families to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. You will provide support to individuals with behavioral health challenges, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care while promoting their development and well-being. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst/QSP Collect and document data on patient behaviors and progress in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records, ensuring compliance with MN statutes and DHS documentation standards. Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide education on behavioral therapy techniques and strategies. Monitor and report any changes in patient behavior or health status to the supervising clinician. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in applied behavior analysis and behavioral health. Qualifications High School Diploma college education preferred. Must be a registered Behavioral Technician or willing to become an Must Pass Background Criminal Study Must Have Reliable Transportation Experience working with children, particularly those with behavioral health challenges, is preferred. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles is essential. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices is required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members. A compassionate approach towards individuals receiving care, demonstrating patience and empathy in all interactions.
