Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with clients, primarily children between ages 2-9 with autism, to implement behavior intervention plans and support their development. This role is crucial in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring that clients receive the best possible support in their daily activities. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors to inform treatment decisions. Provide direct support to clients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality. Collaborate with team members to develop effective strategies for behavior management. Utilize medical terminology appropriately when discussing client care with other healthcare professionals. Requirements Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred or willingness to obtain certification. Experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disorders is highly desirable. Strong skills in data collection and analysis to track client progress effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members. A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions. Skills in child-led play techniques, high engagement with play activities, creativity to hold attention of children and facilitate fun atmosphere during sessions. Reliable attendance to maintain regularly scheduled client appointments.
