Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral health services. The RBT will work closely with children on the autism spectrum to implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA). This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives by supporting their growth, independence, and well-being within a supportive clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect and analyze data related to client behaviors and progress to inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, and communication skills Use behavioral management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors Support clients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment Maintain accurate medical records, documentation, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistency in care plans Participate in ongoing training related to special education, behavior management, and medical terminology Adhere to all safety protocols and ethical standards related to patient care and confidentiality Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy, and behavior management strategies Experience assisting with ADLs and implementing teaching strategies for skill development Familiarity with medical documentation processes, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance Background in special education or behavioral health settings is advantageous Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and team members Ability to collect accurate data during therapy sessions and maintain detailed records for progress tracking This position offers an enriching opportunity for individuals passionate about behavioral health care.
