In this vital role, you will provide evidence-based behavioral interventions to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. Your energetic and compassionate approach will help clients develop essential skills, improve behavior, and enhance their quality of life. Responsibilities Implement individualized ABA therapy plans and protocols under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately to monitor client progress and inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and self-care skills Engage children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders through teaching, behavior management, and skill-building exercises Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations Communicate effectively with clients' families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in therapy delivery Support clients during home-based sessions or school-related activities, adapting strategies as needed for different environments Skills Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorders Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and implementation of ABA therapy protocols Strong data collection skills for behavioral tracking and progress reporting Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, and medical documentation practices Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients in achieving independence in daily routines Understanding of behavior management techniques and behavior health concepts Excellent client communication skills, demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism at all times This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about supporting behavioral health and special education.
