Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions designed to support children with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. Your dedication will help children develop essential skills, improve behavior, and achieve greater independence while providing families with the support they need. Responsibilities Implement individualized ABA therapy plans in home or community settings, ensuring adherence to established protocols and care plans Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and guide treatment adjustments Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines Use positive behavior management techniques to promote desired behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors Communicate regularly with clients' families and team members about progress, challenges, and next steps Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ensure all medical documentation is accurate and up-to-date Support the implementation of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) support strategies within client care plans Requirements Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or eligibility to obtain one Experience working with children, especially those with autism or neurodevelopmental disorders Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management, and data collection methods Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior therapy protocols effectively Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records, and HIPAA compliance standards Previous experience in home-based behavioral therapy or school settings is preferred Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Join us at Bright Home ABA to make a meaningful difference in children's lives!
