Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work closely with individuals on the autism spectrum and other behavioral health challenges, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in providing patient care, collecting data, and supporting the development of effective care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA. Provide direct patient care, focusing on improving social skills and reducing challenging behaviors. Collect and record data on patient progress and behavior changes accurately. Educate clients and their families about behavioral therapy techniques and strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with organizational policies. Support clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in applied behavior analysis. Qualifications Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required. Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques. Strong skills in patient care, data collection, and medical documentation. Ability to educate clients and families effectively about behavioral health strategies. Background in special education or related fields is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Patience, empathy, and a commitment to improving the lives of those we serve.
