9671739-03042 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity in the field of behavioral support within an engaging elementary school environment. This role is ideal for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or Behavioral Technicians/Paraprofessionals with proven expertise supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and behavioral needs. You'll be part of a dedicated onsite team, collaborating closely with a supervising School BCBA to make a meaningful impact on students everyday learning experiences.
Key Qualifications:
Current RBT certification (please include a copy with your application) Prior experience in a behavioral/ASD classroom setting is required; Para and Behavior Tech applicants must have more than 1:1 experience Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles Ability to work confidently onsite, supporting elementary-aged children Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored behavioral interventions and support to students in an elementary classroom setting Work under the supervision of a School BCBA to implement behavior support plans and collect data Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, adapting strategies to meet individual needs Communicate regularly with teaching staff, therapists, and families to ensure cohesive support for students Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards in all interactions
