Make a meaningful impact in an elementary classroom supporting students with behavioral and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) needs in a dynamic educational setting. This contract position requires a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician/Paraprofessional with proven behavior experience to join a skilled team on-site with the guidance of a school-based BCBA.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active RBT certification required and must be provided with your application Demonstrated experience working in behavioral settings, particularly with students diagnosed with ASD Experience in an elementary school environment highly valued Strong understanding of behavioral intervention techniques and data collection Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary staff under BCBA supervision Candidates without behavior experience will not be considered
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct 1:1 or small-group behavioral interventions following student-specific plans Collect accurate behavioral data, monitor progress, and report findings Implement strategies to support social, academic, and behavioral growth Work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and BCBA supervisor Foster a positive, structured, and supportive classroom atmosphere Communicate clearly and compassionately with students and team members Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines
