Duties Implement individualized treatment and behavior plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and life skills development Collect and record data meticulously to monitor client progress and inform treatment adjustments Support children and individuals with disabilities in various settings, including home-based environments, ensuring consistency and stability Use behavioral management techniques to encourage positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding medical records and sensitive information Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure cohesive care plans and effective communication Qualifications Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or neurodevelopmental disorders Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and special education principles Ability to assist with ADLs and provide patient care in a compassionate manner Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and medical records management is preferred Home-based behavioral experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across environments Strong understanding of professional and ethical standards outlined in the Behavior Analyst Certification Board's (BACB) Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Embark on a rewarding career path where your dedication helps transform lives!
