Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene to promote independence. Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans. Implement individualized behavior management strategies based on approved care plans and ABA protocols. Support teaching and skill acquisition through structured lessons aligned with special education principles. Conduct direct behavioral therapy sessions under supervision, applying applied behavior analysis techniques for children with autism spectrum disorders. Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Communicate regularly with clients' families and team members about progress, challenges, and next steps to ensure cohesive care delivery. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to implement ABA therapy protocols and behavior management strategies effectively. Experience working in home-based settings or school environments supporting individuals with disabilities. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation standards is a plus. Familiarity with behavioral health practices, data collection methods, and behavior analysis principles enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Previous experience adhering to professional ethical standards such as the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts is advantageous.
