Job Description

50 Stars Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a school-based position in Brookside, NJ . The ideal candidate will provide direct behavioral support to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental or behavioral needs, helping them achieve academic, social, and behavioral success. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one and small-group behavioral support to students. Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA or designated school professional. Collect and maintain accurate behavioral data and documentation. Support students in developing communication, social, academic, and daily living skills. Utilize positive behavior support strategies and de-escalation techniques. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, BCBAs, therapists, and families. Maintain confidentiality and comply with school and district policies. Qualifications Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required. High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or behavioral challenges preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Benefits Competitive compensation. Weekly direct deposit.
