Qualifications and Experience:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing Demonstrated experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles in a school or youth-focused setting Understanding of assessment tools, functional behavior assessments, and data-driven intervention planning Strong communication skills for consultation with staff, students, and families Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for students Train, mentor, and provide ongoing support to school staff in implementing ABA strategies Track and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, adjusting plans as needed Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations regarding behavioral interventions Foster a positive and supportive environment that encourages student growth and development Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and regulatory requirements As a valued contract professional in this dynamic setting, you'll gain exposure to diverse caseloads, enhance your clinical skills, and collaborate with passionate education professionals—all while making a direct, positive difference in students' lives.
