Looking for motivated candidtaes who are willing to learn. This role involves working closely with individuals who may have developmental disabilities and specific behavioral issues. The Behavior Therapist will utilize various therapeutic techniques to promote positive behavior change and improve overall well-being with the supervision of a BCBA. Duties Work 1:1 with a child with Autism under the supervision of a BCBA. Help clients improve their communication and social skills. Work with clients in a social skill setting. Engage in behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors. Work in home or center based. Communicate with a client's family and caretakers. Experience Candidates should possess the following qualifications: Experience working with children and families. Special education. Experience with telehealth services is a plus. Understanding of behavioral therapy principles such as applied behavior analysis is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
