Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. In this role, you will implement individualized behavioral therapy plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your energy, patience, and enthusiasm will help foster positive growth and development for each child you serve. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in behavioral health, special education, and patient care while gaining valuable experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA). •Looking for Male therapist for male client•Duties Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques based on individualized care plans to support children's developmental goals. Collect, record, and analyze data on behavior and skill acquisition to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, dressing, and other self-care routines. Support children during teaching sessions by reinforcing positive behaviors and managing behavior management strategies. Collaborate with team members to develop and update care plans that align with each child's unique needs. Maintain confidentiality of all medical records and adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and security of client information. Document all sessions accurately in medical documentation systems, including progress notes and behavioral data. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred or obtainable upon hire. Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities, is highly valued. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and special education principles. Ability to collect detailed data during therapy sessions and maintain accurate medical records. Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health settings. Compassionate attitude with excellent patience, communication skills, and a genuine desire to support children's growth. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards.
