Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene to promote independence and self-care skills. Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support clients in various settings such as home, school, or community environments by delivering direct behavioral therapy tailored to each individual's needs. Engage in teaching and behavior management strategies that promote positive behaviors while reducing challenging behaviors. Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Communicate regularly with families, caregivers, and team members to update progress, discuss care plans, and address any concerns or questions. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification as an RBT is preferred but not required. Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable. Familiarity with special education environments and school-based support roles is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation standards. Strong understanding of behavioral health principles, behavior management techniques, and ABA therapy protocols. Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to follow detailed care plans and implement behavioral interventions consistently and ethically in accordance with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
