Toms River, NJ Brighter Futures ABA provides compassionate, personalized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children and their families across New Jersey. Our BCBA-led team focuses on individualized, functional goals and real-world application. We are looking for a dedicated and caring Behavior Therapist to join our team and make a positive difference in children's lives. Position Overview As a Behavior Therapist (BT), you will work directly with children with autism and related developmental disabilities in their homes, implementing treatment plans developed and supervised by a BCBA. You will receive training and ongoing support to help you succeed in your role.
Responsibilities:
Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision. Collect and record accurate data on client progress during each session. Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based strategies to teach skills. Support clients in improving communication, social skills, daily living skills, and behavior regulation. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and the supervising BCBA. Follow all company policies and professional guidelines.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with children (ABA experience preferred) Patience, reliability, and strong communication skills. Ability to pass background check. Reliable transportation to client's daycare and home
Preferred:
Teacher certification, early childhood education background, or related field experience Registered Behavior Technician certification
Schedule & Pay Part Time:
