As part of an interdisciplinary team, this position is responsible for providing evaluations, assessments and/or interventions using a behavioral approach, grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis, to optimize full access to care for patients in Hackensack Meridian Children's Health.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Master's degree in Special Education or related human services field Minimum of 5 years of experience working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder. Demonstrated experience in the evaluation, development and management of treatment plans for children and adolescents with complex behavioral challenges. Demonstrated experience working with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to demonstrate competence in behavior management skill, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills and interpersonal relations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
Bilingual in Spanish. Experience in a healthcare setting.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
